: That was my thought too, although at least in US English correspondence, it's usually placed at the end of the document.

Thanks Rick. I think these abbreviations are usually preceded by "Our reference". Looks like they did not add "Our reference" this time.

: If US English correspondence only RE: is used (not "Your" not "Our"), and that after the recipient's address. Initials only at the end, after the signatures; right along with the CC, the Enc., etc.
