Roseola y Rubeola, dos enfermedades diferentes

ROSEOLA:
A viral illness with a characteristic rash, also called exanthem subitum.
SYMPTOMS:
Cold symptoms followed by a fever of up to 106 degrees. The fever persists for about 5 days, the fever breaks, and then a rash develops. The rash starts from the trunk and spreads outward. It lasts about 3 days and then fades away.
CAUSES:
Viruses, called human herpes virus 6 and human herpes virus 7.

RUBELLA=Rubeola o Sarampión Alemán
A viral illness with specific symptoms, also known as German measles or 3-day measles.
SYMPTOMS:
Congestion and runny nose, followed by swelling of the glands behind the ear and on the back of the neck. Following this, a rash develops on the face and then progresses to the whole body. This rash will usually last 3 days.
CAUSES:
A virus.
CONTAGION:
This illness is contagious through the course of the illness. The incubation period is 14-21 days.

roséola

roséola : (medicina) erupción cutánea consistente en pequeñas manchas rosadas.
rubéola : enfermedad parecida al sarampión, pero más benigna.

Me llaman la atención en estas dos palabras el acento gráfico o tilde. Soy latinoamericana y siempre he oído la tónica en la "o".

Si Mara!
Roseola = Roseola, or, Measles.
Rubéola = German Measles.

Para ser franco, no sé la diferencia entre "Measles" y "German Measles" pero los términos que buscas son los arriba mencionados.
