English term

punch die

English to Swedish Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering

"The magnet punch unit consists of a house (12) with two embedded coils, an upper (13) and a lower (15) coil. A spacer (14) is embedded between two coils. A top cover (10) with a radial bearing (11) fitted with a snap ring (9) is mounted at the top of the coil house. A buffer house (2) containing a buffer (3) with an adjustment screw (1) is mounted at the top cover. The buffer house is held in place by four springs (7) attached to two spring holders (6), which are fastened with four centre bolts (5). The armature (16) is mounted in the coil house and is held upright by means of a spring (8), which is kept in place by a nut (4) at the top of the armature. A steering (17) is mounted at the bottom of the coil house. A hard metal punch die (22) is mounted on the armature, and the punch die is fastened with a union nut (21). The armature is controlled at the bottom by a radial bearing (18)."
