in Nederland lopen alle leidingen naar de meterkast (= verzamelkast voor aansluitingen).
"property" zou ik in dit geval dus eerder als "meterkast "dan "gebouw" vertalen.

disagree  Nico van de Water: Als inderdaad een "mapping" wordt gemaakt van alle bedrading naar en in een gebouw of woning, is "meterkast" niet omvattend genoeg. Daarnaast is misschien "onroerende zaak" een alternatief voor "property", hoewel erg formeel en bijna juridisch.
