Strip Time

Good oscillating parameters should ensure the correct Negative Strip Time

for the different sections at all the range of speeds,

while maintaining acceleration and some other factors within certain limits.

These values, added to the mould taper design and lubrication media (oil or mould powder) used during casting will be the responsible of the surface quality of cast products.
