While facilitating payments might be legal under US FCPA, they are often regarded as illegal under local law and they may be illegal under other laws prohibiting bribery of foreign Government officials. Remember, compliance with laws is part of the PVPs.

This means that, regardless of how small the payment, an illegal payment is not acceptable under P&G’s WBCM and can lead to serious consequences for the company and for the individual.
