Do the terms hermetic/auto-ventilated sleeves exist?
Also: I feel pretty confident about the use of the word sleeve, which is mentioned in this context in another question. However, the customer seems to want to use the word "closure" - does that make sense in the context of manchon, because I couldn't find it translated in that way anywhere else ...?

I would endorse Jane's quick comments:
self-vented OR venting (NOT 'auto') and 'sealed' for hermetic.
Closure IS possible --- these are probably being used to seal off the end of a cable prior to termination I've not persoanlyl come across this use of the word, but I can see how it would make logical sense technically. As Jane says, try a bit of research to confirm...
