Your sentence doesn't make sense in French and is grammatically incorrect. Please post the previous sentence so I can understand what it is all about and correct the whole text ! native French speaker |

activities/intrigues Explanation: the French sentence that you propose does not make sense like it is : Larides und similar forms like laridés with/without capital are for me totally unknown. (I am a French native). Could it be landes ? corvides stands probably for corvidés, ie birds belonging to the crows' familly. If the original sentence is something like "et aux nuisances des larides et des corvidés s'ajoutent les agissements des pêcheurs" then the translation would be: "and the fishermen's actities/intrigues are coming on the top of the nuisances of the (larides) and the crows". Replace of course nuisance as appropriate, and choose between activities/intrigues as well Good luck french native |

techniques Explanation: The use of fishing birds in the fishing techniques of human beings is well-documented (and also hotly protested by pro-animal associations; Cf. the case of Chinese cormorants, in which the bird catches the fish but is provoked to vomit). This is also practised in Africa, if this is useful to the context of your document. |

actions Explanation: I suppose this is the second half of a sentence retailing the various woes of the sea birds. You want a word that conveys the idea of reprehensible action without going over the top. In this context, "actions" may be sufficient. |
