titration curve analysis
Die ermittelten Verbrauchskoeffizienten sind nur fur die spezielle Mischungszusammensetzung und Probenmatrix der genannten Produkte unter den vorgegebenen Analysenbedingung gultig.
Verbrauchskoeffizient:
m(C) + m(D)
V(C/D) = _________________________[mg/mL 1 N HC1]
Verbrauch pH 3.5 - Verbrauch pH 7.5
C und D sind chemische Substanzen...
Unfortunately, I do not have more context to offer... the text is an SOP for the determination of active substances through titration curve analysis...
Can anyone help here? I found "usage coefficient" or "depletion coefficient", but no good references relating to titration...

consumption coefficient
I have looked at the other comments. I think that "consumption" is the correct term for "Vebrauchs-" but would suggest that the latter is simply translated as "coefficient" instead of ratio. Without more of the text it is impossible to know for sure.

consumption ratio
My understanding is that you want to express the usage of a certain substance in comparison to another substance. IMO depletion surely does not fit here. Ration did not cross my mind at the beginning, because I was concentrating on coefficient for "Koeffizient". But when you google consumption coefficient together with titration and chemical you'll have about 30 hits. If you google +"consumption ratio" +titration, you'll hit about 100 times the amount.
Discussion
Margot: That's what I ended up doing, it's just that there are hardly any Google hits for "consumption coefficient" + titration ... :o(
Item 2 states: Partition Coefficient (KD) (chemistry) - The ratio of concentrations of a compound in two phases of a mixture of two immiscible solvents at equilibrium.
Now when you go back to math basics, a ratio (2:3) can also be expressed as a fraction (2/5). And a fraction can be used as a multiplicative multiplier in a term. So what else is a coefficient, but a multiplicative factor.
I'm no mathematician, but I have a feeling that might just do.
I'm grateful for any help from chemists or mathematicians.
Hope it helps you.
A ratio is a division, and a coefficient is a multiplication factor...
