References? Hi Gunter, you dont happen to have any references for your suggestion do you? I was also thinking in your direction that it could be some sort of 3 lift system but could not find anything to back it up. The Eifel tower was interesting to read in conjunction with this, but in the English text translation there was no mention of three lifts.

disagree Gunter Prediger : the ref given does not give DREIER as the name of the company - it refers to DREIER GRUPPEN of elevators - a triple set of elevators
