I suspect that this cage (Korb) is the inner container placed inside a waterproof tank of some sort (after all, you can't flood a cage, or can you?

I realise that \"lid\" does not sound as grand as \"Verdeckelung\".
But that\'s language for you.
German engineers rather do tend to call a spade a \"soil removal, aeration and turnover implement\", don\'t they?
