German term
reine Selbstkosten
German to English
Bus/Financial
Finance (general)
This sentence comes from an offer: Reisekosten werden zu reinen Selbstkosten in Rechnung gestellt. (I imagine that it means: Travel expenses shall be charged as "self-costs", but I am not really certain). Secondly, I would really appreciate it if anyone could suggest something for Abstimmungsgespraech. Coordination meeting sounds too literal. Thanks!

Selbstkosten refers to the expenses a company incurs when performing a service or travelling as in this case. Thus, you might say something along the lines: "... shall be charged net without surcharge." As for Abstimmunggespraech, I would have to agree with Mickey's suggestions. A search at www.google.com will confirm this! Good luck!

i.e. no surcharge. I imagine you could also say "net" or something like that.
For Abstimmungsgespräch, I would suggest a phrase like "frank discussion to come to a meeting of the minds" or "to coordinate our plans" or something like that.
Can't give you any references, this is just what the German says to me. Hope it helps, though.

Chris:
I am pretty sure it means that the travel expenses are charged at the real price, i.e. the company which submits the offer does not add anything to it.
When I talked to a customer some time ago, he suggested "line-up meeting" or "kick-off meeting" (maybe it fits your context).

you could also use the term "personal expenses" for "Selbstkosten", and an alternative meaning for "Abstimmung" can be "reconciliation", which might make more sense in a financial context.

at cost
For Selbstkosten, I agree with 'uel'; for Abstimmung one would need more context but I agree with 'skreisher' that in a financial context it could be reconciliation.
