There isn't any more context i can offer other than that sentence and that it is in a german business law contract which has already been stated. But i think, as long as noone here knows a specific term in english then it's probably just the usual legal jargon. I think derek's answer is the most fitting so far, will wait a couple of hours though :)

I'm not sufficiently at home here to suggest an answer, but 'Verhalten' is often used in German in ways that don't translated directly as 'behaviour'. Maybe this means 'horizontal coordination of activities'? Esp. with 'Schlie�lich', we need more context.
