Aufschlagstück

German to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering
Hallo PROZler,

stecke mit diesen Begriffen fest. Es geht um eine Bedienungsanleitung eines Schäumwerkzeugs.
Hier der Kontext:
Wartungsplan:
täglich: Werkzeug reinigen und Sichtkontrolle Flachführungen, Schieber und Aufschlagstücke reinigen / prüfen.

Hätte da an "contact part" gedacht, aber vielleicht kennt jemand etwas besseres.

Danke im Voraus.

Discussion

David Moore (X) Mar 8, 2005:
If the "Aufschlagstck" is to stop the "Schieber" coming off its track, then it's an end-stop. An anvil is normally used when hammering metal into shape.

End-stop

Is a possibility, but is this a piece of kitchen equipment, a plastic moulding tool, or what? Again, we have to ask for more context....

some choices

anvil might work.

bumper maybe
strike plate, but that is more for a door

some other choices, but not real happy with any of them. I went more for the 'schlagen' part of the word.
