German term
Preisauslobung
German to English
Marketing
Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Am a bit confused about whether "prices" or "prizes" are being referred to here. The sentence is: " Dies (Einführung von Generika)erfordert einerseits vom Generikaanbieter (Preisauslobung!) aber auch vom Originalhersteller Marktinvestitionen..." Can anybody help?

Another word for Auslobung is claiming
From Beiersdorf's own dictionary. Then the sentence would read: Not only will this (introduction of generic products) require price claims / concessions on the part of the generic goods suppliers, but the originating producers will also be forced to increase their marketing budgets.

Comment: ""Price concessions" is good, thanks!"
