crazy for love..

That's rather a tough question as both "imadni" and "szerelem" translates to "love" in the Hungarian language, unless you try to come up with a tricky solution, such as *I am crazy for you, love*

imadni (verb) - to (be in) love (with), to be smitten, to adore, to be crazy for/about sg.
szerelem (noun) - love, fondness, adoration, devotion, strong liking, etc.

imadLAK - I adore you, I'm crazy for you, I love you

Hope this helps.. ;)

agree Csaba Ban : maybe the original is "imádlak, szerelmem", which is "I adore you, my love"

The original was "Imadlak szerelem" - not "szerelMem"....

agree Katalin Szilárd : "Imádlalk, szerelmem" = "I adore you, my love"

But the question was, "Imadlak szerelem"....
agree Andrea Nemeth-Newhauser : Yes, with the cautionary notes by Csaba and Creativity.

disagree Erika Pál (X) : Your suggestion, when translated back to Hungarian would go “Őrült a szerelemért”- not the same as "Imádlak, szerelem" - might be a minor detail to the average reader but should *not* be to a professional translator. Just as bad as mine…:-)

To be crazy for sg. NEM ugy forditandom hogy valaki "orult a szerelemert" - mar ne haragudj, de itt forditasrol van szo, nem szavak szotari alakjarol... :(

"I am in love with love"

I like falling in love.
I ADORE BEING IN LOVE, I am in love with the feeling itself.
(I adore the feeling of adrenaline rushing through my body, the dilation of the pupil, the whole INFATUATION which elevates my humble being above the mundane aspects of my life.
Even if my feelings remain platonic and my love unrequited I will fall in love again and again - regardless of age, object of desire and certainly regardless of others' opinion.)
As simple as that, thank you for listening.(Spring is in the air
you ought to understand.:-))

Sounds like a film or musical title, by the way...

Oh, yes...and if it\'s the somewhat skewed version of \"IMÁDLAK, SZERELMEM\" (as mentioned by Csaba) it means: \"I ADORE YOU, MY BELOVED ONE\"

agree Csaba Ban : Erika, you explained to us why exactly the word "chemistry" is used to describe what is going on when boy meets girl :)

:-)...and it doesn't have to be a heterosexual encounter, either.
