Italian term or phrase: allestimenti
it's a heading for a para. listing things that an agency will think about for you at the venue for your party - they tell me it covers table settings, decorations, the decking out of the room/garden, table coverings etc etc. Have rejected 'decking out', 'set up' 'fitting out' and am thinking about 'decor'. Anyone got something better?

English translation:preparations/organization/decoration
Explanation:
These may work... it's a matter of whether you like the terms or not, I guess.
I would only use "decoration" if it just covers the things you mention... if it also covers things like supplying of chairs, tables or anything structural, then it won't be appropriate.

Obviously took me a few minutes to write this as I only saw Jestany's answer after I posted mine!

decoration is the most apt, but this confirmed my thought path - in the end went for decor. thanks anyway for your input!
