Japanese term

平成6年押第18号

Japanese to English Law/Patents Law (general)
Not getting any help with google for this. Is this some sort of Act or something? All I can get is it's Item 18 of 押 which was established in 1994. What is this shorthand for? I'm assuming a law regarding seizure of property or something to that effect.
Proposed translations (English)
3 +2 Impoundment No. 18, 1994

Discussion

Marc Brunet Oct 12, 2016:
Broad context or field please... one trial browsing leads you to an assessment of liability re: a (minor) marine collision of a trawler with the launch of Tug #28, in 1994... but what is your material actually about...?

Impoundment No. 18, 1994

It's a sequential reference number given to an impoundment case.
Here, we need to distinguish 押収 from 没収. 押収されたもの may be 没収される later.
