Portuguese term

U$10mm

Portuguese to English Bus/Financial
What is "m" and "mm" in the following context:
U$10mm em pagamento equivalente, portanto 75 (closing) + 65 (12m) = 140
Proposed translations (English)
4 +3 MM = Milhões
2 mil milhoes = bilhao

Proposed translations

Selected

MM = Milhões

In Portuguese MM = million and M = thousand; in English M = million and K = thousand. Probably U$ 10 MM = US$ 10 million, a blend (common mistake) of Portuguese and English.

I don't know what type of document this is but if it is an older brazilian currency this could be right. It's mostly a guess and suggestion.
