Discussion

TechLawDC Nov 1, 2014:
It may be a question of idiom. I have heard of "brand acceptance" (as in Mr. Fernandes's quote) but not "trademark acceptance". There may be a subtle distinction here as to what is idiomatic and what is not.
Gilmar Fernandes Nov 1, 2014:
Asker clearly specified her question as: Marketing - Marketing / Market Research / Product Launch

TechLawDC Nov 1, 2014:
Broader context is unstated. The context may be trademark law, for example, e.g. a trademark lawsuit, and not marketing. Or the audience may be a broad audience which includes marketing people at different levels, statisticians, survey researchers, etc. In which case more detail may be desired.
Gilmar Fernandes Nov 1, 2014:
acceptance - common marketing term http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/brand-ac...

(marketing) the extent to which consumers recognize and welcome a brand ⇒ "Its consumer demographics and brand acceptance are amongst the strongest in the industry today."

"perceived by consumers" ou "assimilated/absorbed by consumers"

6. ("brand positioning"/"positioning of brand" + "absorbed by consumers", 4): https://www.google.pt/search?biw=1280&bih=911&noj=1&sclient=...
7. ("brand positioning"/"positioning of brand" + "assimilated by consumers", 3): https://www.google.pt/search?biw=1280&bih=911&noj=1&sclient=...

accepted and well regarded by consumers of chocolates

(From context.)
It seems that something more than just "accepted" here is needed, because in context "accepted" is too neutral, when assessing a trademark.

(I purposely omitted the "the" because it is less idiomatic in English.

These days it rarely happens that a completely new and unique chocolate product is so quickly embraced by millions of consumers around the globe.
