I'm translating a recipe that includes guindas, a type of dry fruit. I looked it up and I'm finding "morellos", is this correct? Thanks in advance.

Sour/tart/pie cherries
In the U.S., "guindas" are known as "sour cherries" (I'm from Michigan, the leading producer...).
It seems that they are being marketed as "tart" or "pie" cherries:

Morellos are actually a variety (the most common in England but relatively unknown) of sour cherrry, but there are actually varieties as well. Most sour cherries grown in the U.S. are of the "amarelle" variety.
