Glad to help. Thanks and good night. Brenda
Hi, Margaret. I have no idea what it means, sorry, but I found this website a while ago which has helped me a lot, it has a multilingual database with not only food products but also preparation techniques: http://www.practicallyedible.com/ Good luck!
psicutrinius May 20, 2008:
"A la espalda" is a sort of preparation for cooking fish which involves cutting it lengthwise, thotoughly cleaning it (thorns and whatever) and then cooking it in two halves, skin on the cooking pan (and that's why it is called "a la espalda").
