LOS or LAS LCIs I was thinking it might be a typo with LOS LCIs, and should be LAS LCIs; in which case it might be "Las Líneas de Créditos Internacionales"...??

LCI Creo que los LCI se refiere a los países que necesitan financiamiento y no a las instituciones que proporcionan el crédito. Se habla de las necesidades financieras de los LCI's y que el FMI no puede para tanto.

Country classification The acronym almost certainly refers to a classification of countries. LDC (Least developed countries) would fit nicely, could LCI be a typo?
