En Black'S y refiriéndose al estado de Louisiana que es el único de EEUU que tiene un sistema de derecho similar al continental:
Beneficiary heir: In the law of Louisiana, one who has accepted the succession under the benefit of an inventory regularly made. CivCode La. Art. 883. Also, one who may accept the succession with benefit of inventory.
Es exactamente la misma definición que en los países de Sudamérica que siguen los lineamientos del derecho continental. (Ver el Código Civil de la Argentina, entre otros)Creo que puede utilizarse el término sin problemas. Son equivalentes y muy transparentes.
