Medical (general)
Software for a prosthetics manufacturer in Spain. I started to call "colegiado" a "professional", but the context seems to suggest some kind of team or group. Any ideas?

: Actually, it is exactly the opposite, a "médico colegiado" is someone who has completed its education, and has been accepeted by the "colegio" as a professional. Interns and trainees have not reached such state.

registered doctor
In England, after completing your training, a doctor has to be registered with the General Medical Council. For the first year this is a provisional registration but, after the successful compltion of that year, full registration is given and the doctor may be called a registered doctor. This would be the equivalent of in UK of a "médico colegiado" in Spain, as doctors in Spain are registered with the provincial "medical colleges", hence "colegiado".
I believe the equivalent term in the US is "licensed doctor" as put by Smarttrans.
