Hi all,
Got a rush on and I'm not certain of the meaning in this context, can you help please?
SP SP > UK EN
Checks that need to be made before starting up a telemetrics system:
"Fusionado del panel de parcheo de fo de la manguera de fo de enlace con Security Office." [fo = fibra optica]
>>
"Connection of the FO patch panel for the FO cable linked to the Security Office."
Or would it be better rendered as "splicing / merging / something else" ??
Thanks in advance.

Your version looks OK. Splicing probably applies more to the cable than the box.

Guinness or 'tinto' both gratefully accepted - somebody else can have the PointZ.

Note from asker:
Thanks Donal, I'd actually stuck with "connection" anyway, but the big help was confirming the meaning, and that I was over-complicating matters. Cheers |

As an alternative "Splicing of the Security Office (FO) cable to the FO patch panel" ???
