Please answer my question! Your answer may help us to find the answer to your question.
Thor Truelson (asker) Sep 8, 2005:
It says Fel! Oknt vxelargument. I did a google search and can see it's a computer error message, but just what does it mean?
Sven Petersson Sep 8, 2005:
Is your source hardcopy or electronic? If electronic; which file type?
Sven Petersson Sep 8, 2005:
Don't think it's a "heading"; it's part of a computer generated error message.
Christian Schoenberg Sep 8, 2005:
Hi Thor,
You wouldn't happen to have some more context, by any chance?
Best,
Christian

Protest of a Bill

Could be extended to "protest of a bill (of exchange, note, or order)." I believe it is the same as a 'vekselprotest' in Danish.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Sven Petersson : None of the Google hits on "växelargument" supports your assumption. The Danish "vekselprotest" is "växelprotest" in Swedish. - Answer: No. If you Google "Växelargument" you will find that it is part of a computer generated error message.

Might the two terms not be near-synonymous, though?

Invalid Argument

While I do not speak Swedish, I derived my answer from my previous google search in Spanish. I'm sure this is an error message shown by a Microsoft file. I checked in the Spanish-English Microsoft glossary and I found "Invalid Argument". If "vaxel" means something like "invalid", I think I'm going in the right way!

switch argument

If you issue a programming command followed by an "argument" in the form of a "switch" such as /s or -s (= a switch, you are using a "switch argument".
However, what this has to do with a legal document I don't know.

Another example:
If you open MsWord on your compyter, you can add a number of switches after it in the command line (under Start using Windows). For example /a which prevents certain templates from being loaded. The switch can be followed by an argument.
