Link my personal website to my Proz profile page Thread poster: Graciela Guzman

Hello, I'd like to link my Proz profile page to my personal website and viceversa. I could successfully paste the ProZ logo to my personal website and the link works fine, but when trying to paste my personal website logo to my Proz profile page I failed. Could anybody tell me how to do this or else let me know where in Proz I could find the instructions, please? Thanks in advance for any help you could give me. | | | ENGSOL German to English + ...
[Edited at 2005-10-21 08:52] | | | Hi Graciela, on my profile page | Oct 21, 2005 |
there's the Italian flag, and a click on it brings you to my Italian page. That's because in Edit your profile I pasted Sh.., my HTML is not printed but performed; right-click and choose "HTML" to see the script. Of course you must replace 20424 by your ProZ number and http://www.proz.com/home/20424/ital.html by your URL and itfahne.gif by the name of your logo, after having gone to Edit your site and Upload files to upload your logo. Bye from Udine Martin

Hi Martin Congratulations for your presence on the web! Just a detail: when I click on any of those links: -page de profil ProZ.com -pagina profilo ProZ.com -ProZ.com-Profilseite, they all have the same URL: http://www.proz.com/translator/20424/ and this URL opens my own profile, not yours (not that I mind but I guess it's not the intended effect). It looks like there's some kind of mixup somewhere... You might want to ask others Proz colleagues if this also opens their own profile. And now I wonder what kind of page it opens for non-members? ▲ Collapse | |

Funny, but clicking on http://www.proz.com/translator/20424/ also brings up my own profile page, not Martin's. I am sure there's some login issue involved here. I put a link to my Proz.com profile page on my website, but as far as I know only logged in Proz.com members will be able to access my profile page through that link. I've tried it when I was loged out and it requires a Proz.com... See more Funny, but clicking on http://www.proz.com/translator/20424/ also brings up my own profile page, not Martin's. If anyone knows the answer, please post your findings here. Thank you!

I wouldn't have received your contribution if you hadn't sent it to my mail. Thanks to you and to Claudio; nobody has pointed that out to me in all those years!
