My career as a translator began immediately after obtaining my "Abitur" (German high school diploma) at the German School Istituto Giulia in Milan. I then continued my studies at the Scuola Superiore per Interpreti e Traduttori "Silvio Pellico" for German and English and graduated in German at the University of Modern Languages "IULM".
I am convinced that in order to translate technical documentation correctly, it is necessary to understand the functioning of what is being translated, and this is why I have always tried to deepen my knowledge through continuous dialogue with customers and by attending trade fairs to see “how it works”.
Over the years I translated in various sectors and have specialized in the following:
SECTORS OF SPECIALIZATION:
MACHINE TOOLS - CRANES - PHOTOVOLTAIC - SOFTWARE FOR MACHINERY - SAFETY DATA SHEETS - INDUSTRIAL PLANTS
I mainly translate user andmaintenance manuals, machinery software, technical brochures, catalogues and technical marketing.
FOCUS ON TERMINOLOGY
Over the years I have created specific glossaries for the different areas of specialization that integrate the continuous feedback from customers to always find the most correct term.
