The 2013 ProZ.com international conference was held in Porto, Portugal this past weekend. Maria Kopnitsky, Lucía Leszinsky and I had the pleasure of representing the ProZ.com site team at this event.
And it was an excellent event. There was a lot to learn, a lot to see and do, and networking opportunities before, during and after the conference.
A lot of work goes into building a great in-person conference, so thanks goes first and foremost to the organizers, Paula Ribeiro, Maria Pereira and Rafaela Lemos, for putting on an event that was welcoming, educational, and fun. Thank you to all of the speakers who came in to give some very interesting sessions. Thank you to the event's sponsors for their support. There was also a special visit and book signing from Alejandro Moreno-Ramos, the creator of Mox. And thank you to all 198 attendees, who came from all over the world to learn something new, share their views on translation and business, network, and to have a good time.
