I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and hold the IoL Diploma in Translation. I have a 1st Class degree in Spanish and International Relations and am a qualified TEFL teacher.
I began translating on an ad hoc basis in 2006 whilst teaching English in Spain as part of my degree. Since then I have worked both freelance and in-house as a translator and interpreter, in both the UK and Spain. I now work mostly on a freelance basis.
In 2010, I set up ez-translation as a part time venture, offering my services as an all-round Spanish to English language service provider. I offer Spanish to English translations, proofreading of English texts, bilingual virtual administration and some interpreting.
With an academic background in International Relations and a wealth of professional experience across a number of fields, I translate across a wide range of subject areas. These include (but are not limited to):
International Relations and Politics
Marketing and Communication
Medical, Health and Well-being
Sports, Fitness and Nutrition
General legal matters
Travel, Leisure and Tourism
