I am very often confronted with the problem of opening a document (Tag Editor, for instance) which has different languages than the TM. I have the option of:
- Exporting the TM, searching and replacing the language code, importing the TM into the same memory - Exporting the TM, searching and replacing the language code, importing the TM into a new memory with the correct languages - Recreating the TTX in Tageditor, with the correct memory and languages in place. ... Is there any other better option to change the language in a TM?

Edit the TTX file

Hi Carlos, You can edit TTX files: TTX ('Trados Tag') is an XML-based format, which allows you to edit files in a text editor.
Search for SourceLanguage= and TargetLanguage=; you can change the codes to match your TM. Don't forget to change 'em back before delivering a TTX file.
HTH, Ralf

Thank you Ralph.
I do that too. I thought that there might be another way I was not aware of (maybe a Trados tool or non documented command, etc.).
Thanks again
