Hello,

This has not happened to me before, there might be a very easy explanation for it - I have not found it.

Hello,

To make a long story short:

- Trados 6.5
- translation of Excel document (relatively simple spare parts list, alphanumeric contents in cells/segments)

When opening the almost finished file the next day to continue, some of the German source text was changed into English - i.e. pulled close TARGET matches I translated the previous day into the source segments!

Did this happen to anone else?

Thanks

Henrik

Which version? Apr 7, 2005

Hi Henrik,
Which Trados version are you using (full version number, please - go to Help - About... to find out)?

Are you translating in TagEditor or T-Window for Excel?

Thanks, Ralf

Hmm... columns? Apr 7, 2005

Thanks, Henrik,

it is 6.5.2.417 (I forgot the built version)

I am working with TagEditor

Although now a bit outdated, build 417 was pretty stable, so I don't think the issue is related to that.

One other thing I can think of: when saving the file, did you save the bilingual version (as .ttx)? Are you sure you re-opened that file?

Best, Ralf
