We have a project in Indesign and we've used Trados to translate it. We now have .isc files that are ready to import back into the Indesign files. Before we import the file back and typeset the manual, the client would like to see the translation. Does anyone know if there's a way to view these Trados (.isc) files for someone who doesn't have Trados (our client)? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks! Sandra

Why don't you just import the .isc into the InDesign file and make a PDF out of it?
Okay, some of the translated text may be in text boxes that are too small and may thus not show all of the text, but to get a first overview prior to DTP, this should be enough...

Yes, exactly as Benjamin said, create a PDF. That was what we did when we worked on Indesign files. You might have to expand the text boxes and to asign the correct language.

Thanks for your replies. We did import the file back to Indesign and create the PDF file so the client could view the translation. The only drawback is going back and updating the TM for the changes requested.
Thanks for your help!!
