Hello all together,

this may sound like a stupid question, but i really don\'t know whether there exists such a thing as a glossary (German - English) for job titles in German administration/authorities. Does anybody know where i would find the English equivalents for \"Regierungsrat\", \"Ministerialdirigent\" and the like ....

i\'d be happy to get a hint! so long

a Google search of your 2 words on English pages Apr 11, 2003

brought forth just one link:

http://members.shaw.ca/deutschesoldaten/beamten.htm

which, what\'s worse, sees it from a military point of view.

HTH!

Contains not exactly the two terms you mentioned but a couple of other bureaucratic \"monsters\".
