you should feel free to coin a word or expression Explanation: There is no such word in Italian dictionaries, IMHO (see demauroparavia), and all the google hits seem to be related to a single specific project of Regione Basilicata. Some very clever egg-head in some very well financed Centro Studi must have invented the word - and I think you are at least as well suited to invent a matching one for English (well - but for the "very well financed" bit..., but, then, nobody's perfect..., as we all knoow ;-) ) |

estimation Explanation: At the end of the day this is what they are doing. They could be using contouring as Daniela said to make estimates of aquifers etc. but I think it would be very complicated and there are easier ways of measuring water consumption. |

Il finanziamento (approvato nell'ultima seduta del 20 dicembre scorso) è di circa 91,39 milioni e riguarda gli schemi idrici, comprende il sistema di conturizzazione (monitoraggio dei consumi) e misurazione dell'acqua sul territorio regionale (59,515 milioni) e il completamento dell'adduttore idraulico San Giuliano-Ginosa (31,875 milioni). Restano da finanziare due progetti (importo complessivo richiesto, circa 43 milioni), già approvati dal pre Cipe a luglio e settembre 2004 e ora in attesa della delibera definitiva. Tra le opere finanziate, quelle che prevedono la realizzazione del sistema di conturizzazione delle utenze civili, industriali e agricole e di misurazione dell'acqua sul territorio regionale. La conturizzazione consisterà nella rilevazione, installando appositi apparecchi, delle quantità di acqua utilizzate. Regione Basilicata "conturizzazione delle grandi utenze civili, industriali ed irrigue della Regione", finalizzata ad una migliore gestione delle risorse idriche (risparmi idrici, riduzione costi, acquisizione dati e relativo monitoraggio). |
