The term is in the Company History of a Employee Handbook.

The paragraph says:
..."the primary costumer base included: Clark Grave Vault, AMF (bycicles), IBM (typewriters), DAB (engine bearings), and Ferro Corporation (automotive stamping).

I've seen the term translated as "Cojinete de fricción" but I am not quite sure that this translation is correct.
Could anybody please confirm or correct it? I would really appreciate it.

disagree  Tomás Cano Binder, BA, CT: Perdón Christian, pero en los motores no se usan rodamientos (o sea, de los que tienen elementos rodantes y dos aros concéntricos), sino más bien cojinetes de fricción.
