I guess it's the title of a story or something similar, but I don't understand very well the meaning and thus I have problems to translate it into Spanish.

Me parece que puede ser un error -
en inglés existe lo que viene a ser una frase hecha:
"The one that got away" (el que escapó), que supuestamente es lo que dice un pescador al enseñar lo que ha pescado. La idea es que "the one that got away" era ENORME, pero claro, no lo puede enseñar porque "se le escapó";-)
Este título (?) vendría a ser, "el que NO se escapó" - claro, el verbo es otro....de ahí que sugiero que puede ser un error.
