With Sulzer: It would make quite a difference if the context was "we are a strong part of group (insert company name)" or if it simply means "united we are strong", though the latter meaning seems more likely.
Bernhard Sulzer Jul 25, 2010:
@Ken Hi. Can you tell me if "group" refers to associates/workers in one company, or various "groups" of/as in departments, or to affiliates of a large corporation? Thx.
Lirka Jul 25, 2010:
I was actually basing it on this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norsefire

Another maxim often used by Norsefire as a salute is "England Prevails".

Your suggestion is reminiscent of this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strength_Through_Joy

@ Asker: Does "strength through teamwork" sound like a catchy marketing slogan to you? It might be one way of translating it, but even in German the phrase is hardly original, just another variation of the very tired, shop-worn theme "Gemeinsam sind wir stark". You'll probably have to be a bit more creative in this case, I'm afraid.

agree British Diana : "Together we are strong" is fine, but "united we stand" has different connotations

Together we wrapped it up successfully

Etwas Wortspielerei gefällig?
Together = Anspielung auf Teamwork
wrapped it up = Wortspielerei in Verbindung mit Verpackung
successfully = deutet auf Erfolg und Stärke hin.

Oder nur: Together we wrapped it up

Nur so eine Idee.
