Intraligamentous Anaesthetics in Dentistry
"Nach dem vorliegenden Verteilungsmuster des Kohlenstoffes war der Transport der intraligamentär applizierten Flüssigkeit vorwiegend nur auf arteriellem Wege über die kribrosierte Lamina dura interna möglich."
OK, I know "intraligamentär" means "intraligamentous". Roche and Eurodicautom confirm that. But what's troubling me here is that "intraligamentär" is being used as an adverb, and according to the search engines, there is no such word as "intraligamentously".
Should I just use "intraligamentously" anyway, or is there a recognised English equivalent for "intraligamentär" as an adverb? TIA once more for your help.

Comment: "Well, I used this, but I'm still not convinced about it. When a word gets absolutely no search engine hits, as is the case with "intraligamentously", you doubt its legitimacy as a proper English word, and that is the reason for my hesitation in using it. But use it in the end I did, because I got no better suggestions, although the last answer had some promise. Thank you all for your assistance."

Would it be possible to say just as is done for "intravenously" via the venous route ?
