every item of information

I was going to say "flood" until I looked at the context, but I don't think it would be appropriate. It's quite negative to flood people with information.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Julie Barber : I would have thought that it's something more specific, like each marketing campaign or each batch.....but I'm not sure either! although vague doesn't have to mean lots (ref your flood comment), more something staggered

Well, I agree that it isn't a literal translation and we do talk of "waves". However, it just seems natural in English to say it this way.
agree Angus Stewart : Whilst taking Julie's point (technically "vague" would mean "pulse" in this context http://www.granddictionnaire.com/btml/fra/r_motclef/index800... I would include to agree with you in rendering this in plain English.

Thanks Angus. The translation might be different for a technical manual.
neutral AllegroTrans : Agree with Julie; I don't think it could mean "every"

But for "l'ensemble des vagues" as opposed to just "une vague"?

batch of onformation

floods or waves gives a negative image, so i would say batch of information in this case.
