Im translating a text on advertising in general. I met a sentence that goes like this.

"This kind of marketing approach for sure has many advantages, in fact, the weight that people tend to give to an endorsement from a friend is higher than a traditional approach.

publicidad??? de parte de un amigo es ....

I've never heard "endorsement from a friend. I wonder if this expression is correct.
