"capping" in reference with a localisation project, regarding printers. It is connected with the refilling of ink. Anyone got any idea ? Thanks a lot !

Comment: "Thanks a lot for the help. That was actually the same term I intended to use, but just was'nt quite sure. I did then in the end use a combination of your answer and another one and called it a "Füllverschluß-Sonsor" and hope that fits the best in the given context.

So I think they mean a sensor that checks whether the ink cartridge is properly inserted (and maybe the holder is closed ?).
