I was trying to clarify that "accesso" when applied to an "oggetto o transazione" is unlikely to mean log-on, as log-on is what you do to the system as a whole, not to an object/transaction. Judging just from the text quoted, I'd probably agree that it is the user who can make modifications and access objects and transactions; a potential doubt could be whether the "modifica" could also extend to the "transazioni" (how likely is it that a mere user could modify the transaction history, sounds like it could be a bit too system-managery for them?), but on balance I'd discount that and go with Phil's interpretation.

right, so, fellas, oliver seems to be suggesting that, as per my original doubt, "accesso" is not that of the user but of the person or thing monitoring his/her actions. is that right, oliver?
