It is a recipe from a cookbook:
Para elaborar el queso, se pone la leche a hervir en un cazo y, cuando llega al punto de ebullición, se retira del fuego y se le va añadiendo poco a poco el zumo de limón para cortarla. Se pasa entonces por un colador chino para separar el suero, se deja reposar unos minutos y luego se envuelve la pasta de queso obtenida con una gasa o un paño....

I don't think Chinese strainer does it here. This only means something to the Spanish speaker. We normally talk of separating ingredients in cookery.
