I would like to suggest some kind of flexibility in allowing non-paying members to enter comments on the BB. Or, at least, allowing them to enter reports on defaulting agencies. Take my case for instance. Recently I have been cheated by a US-based agency and posted a negative entry, as another translator did. In the meantime we discovered this agency is a professional cheater. There are (to-date) 23 interpreters and translators waiting for payment (or taking legal action at the small claims cour... Take my case for instance. Recently I have been cheated by a US-based agency and posted a negative entry, as another translator did. In the meantime we discovered this agency is a professional cheater. There are (to-date) 23 interpreters and translators waiting for payment (or taking legal action at the small claims court whenever feasible, not my case anyway since I live in Argentina).
However, this agency still is permitted to post jobs in Proz because only 2 "paying" members were able to report their failure to pay. Unfortunately, I have e-mailed Henry with this issue, requesting a note from staff be entered on their profile with this warning, but got no answer so far.
Your suggestions/comments are most welcome so as to improve the transparency of the BB.

Hello Alicia,
Please note that whether an LWA entry maker is a paying member or non-paying site user does not affect an outsourcer's being subject to the termination policy, http://www.proz.com/termination_policy . All LWA entry makers have the option to submit a non-payment report with their entry if an issue exists, providing their entry meets the criteria set in site rule http://www.proz.com/siterules/blue_board_bb_blueboard/2#2 , and being a paying member is not a prerequisite for making an LWA entry.
If you have questions on a particular Blue Board record, or did not submit a non-payment report with your entry and need to, I would recommend you contact site staff via support request for help with this.
