Does anybody have any experience with the following error in Wordfast Anywhere while uploading dead PDF for conversion:

java.lang runtime exception cant get the objec clsid from progid

should be converted with OCR - you cannot convert them with any CAT tool.

Thank you Natalie, but I believe they actually can be converted in Wordfast Anywhere, I have done it before. Only that now the error comes up.

Wrong: Wordfast Anywhere includes OCR (technology from ABBYY, ie. the same as in FineReader), so you can convert dead PDF's with it.

This feature has been available in Wordfast Anywhere for many years already, see:

The original poster's problem is likely related to the one particular PDF she's dealing with, I'm sure she would be able to convert other PDF's (and maybe she has already).
