I simply can't find a translation for this term. It appears in the following sentence:
La Pedomorfosis -o ‘Paidomorfosis’— es la retención de rasgos juveniles de su antecesor en fases tardías de desarrollo de los descendientes. Ello se refleja en los humanos actuales tanto racial como sexualmente: la frente más abombada y grácil en la mujer, en los pigmeos africanos y asiáticos, y en los **melanoafricanos**; la orejas y la nariz respingona, el puente nasal y, en general el aplanamiento de la cara en khoisánidos y mongoloides –también en alpinos, europeos orientales y lapones actuales—, son ejemplos citados como de origen neoténico.
