Explanation:
(Supplies, понятно дело, глагол).

Дело в том, что бюрократизмы ("наблюдалось отсутствие наличия" = "не было") в переводе звучат ещё более коряво, т.к. им часто нет устоявшихся аналогов в языке перевода. В силу этого при переводе лучше (ИМХО) бюрократизмы заменять человеческими словами - без потери смысла, ессно.

Я полагаю, что тут правильно перевести именно как

Distributor... supplies Products to retail outlets .... ну и далее по тексту.

Весь этот буллшит про "организовывал" и т.д. - только напускает туману. Смысл передаётся и без этих слов = они лишние (т.к. про процесс организации будет дальше - "путём создания дистрибуторской сети и т.д.).

disagree  Levan Namoradze: Никак не буллшит про "организовывал" и т.д.+Согласен, смешно. Даже очень. Но, являясь переводчиком в юридической компании, я стал буквоедом в определенных рамках.

  -> То есть "организуя свою деятельность по поставкам путём создания дистрибуторской сети" не равно "создал дистрибуторскую сеть для поставок продукции"? ИМХО - одно и то же. Но Вы, конечно же, можете не согласиться (упс, Вы, кстати, и не согласились :0))
