Propongo "mayoritario" porque entiendo (a raíz del "targeted aproach" que viene detrás) que no es que el enfoque lo ADOPTE una mayoría sino que se APLICA mayoritariamente (son cosas distintas)

Dos términos que siempre son difíciles de traducir son approach y mainstream, de ahí que proponga una traducción más libre.
